Vicky is an excellent worship leader with an incredible gift for writing lyrics that are full of Biblical truth and then combining the lyrics with beautiful melodies. She is a gifted musician and if you haven't listened to her music then get to it!!
One of the things I love about Vicky's songs is that as a girl she writes her songs in lovely girly keys meaning I don't have to change the key if I want to use one of her songs whilst leading worship!!! But more than that I love the way her heart of worship is displayed in every lyric. this song has been on my ipod most played list for months....it is simply stunning!
Having decided I wanted to put this song in this post it was more tricky than I thought to find an appropriate youtube version of the song...I was hoping to find a nice acoustic video of Vicky singing it live....never mind! So anyway, I decided to use the lack of appropriate youtube videos to try my hand at imovie on my new mac - another new programme to me, that supersedes the microsoft equivalent in every possible way - I am well and truly a mac!
It's by no means perfect, but I had a lot of fun learning the new programme!
